Did Paul preach a different gospel than Peter, James, and John ?

The Apostle Paul wrote, around 48-49 AD, right before the Council of Jerusalem in Acts 15:

7 “But on the contrary, seeing that I had been entrusted with the gospel to the uncircumcised, just as Peter had been to the circumcised (for He who effectually worked for Peter in his apostleship to the circumcised effectually worked for me also to the Gentiles), and recognizing the grace that had been given to me,  James and Cephas (Peter) and John, who were reputed to be pillars, gave to me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship, so that we might go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised. 10 They only asked us to remember the poor—the very thing I also was eager to do.”

Galatians 2:7-10  (my emphasis)

About Ken Temple

I am a follower of Jesus Christ. I am a sinner who has been saved by the grace of God alone (Ephesians 2:8-9), through faith alone (Galatians 2:16; Romans 3:28; 4:1-16), in Christ alone (John 14:6). But a true faith does not stay alone, it should result in change, fruit, good works, and deeper levels of repentance and hatred of my own sins of selfishness and pride. I am not better than you! I still make mistakes and sin, but the Lord is working on me, conforming me to His character. (Romans 8:28-29; 2 Corinthians 3:16-18) When I do sin, I hate the sin as it is an affront to God, and seek His forgiveness in repentance. (Mark 1:15; 2 Corinthians 7:7-10; Colossians 3:5-16 ) Praise God for His love for sinners (Romans 5:8), shown by the voluntary coming of Christ and His freely laying down His life for us (John 10:18), becoming flesh/human (John 1:1-5; 1:14; Philippians 2:5-8), dying for sins of people from all nations, tribes, and cultures (Revelation 5:9), on the cross, in history, rising from the dead (Romans 10:9-10; Matthew 28, Mark 16:1-8; Luke 24; John 20-21; 1 Corinthians chapter 15). His resurrection from the dead proved that Jesus is the Messiah, the eternal Son of God, the word of God from eternity past; and that He was all the gospels say He was and that He is truth and the life and the way to salvation. (John 14:6)

Yeah; I saw that too. Thanks!
Kruger’s book on the Canon and his website is excellent.

  2. Sam Shamoun says:

I just posted this on William’s assault against the Holy Bible for its alleged obscenities. I challenged this lowlife coward to debate me on the supposed obscenities of the Holy Bible versus the filth and porn of his not so holy Quran. Enjoy!

Send me an email so I can set it up. I would have no problem reading this to my child, anymore than I would have a problem with reading this filth and trash from your holy book:

Wherein both will be those (maidens) restraining their glances upon their husbands, whom no man or jinn YATMITHHUNNA (HAS OPENED THEIR HYMENS WITH SEXUAL INTERCOURSE) before them. S. 55:56 Hilali-Khan

“Surely for the godfearing awaits a place of security, gardens and vineyards, and maidens of SWELLING BREASTS (kawa’ib), like of age, and a cup overflowing.” S. 78:33 Arberry (see also Dawood, Rodwell)

Ibn Kathir gives a more fully detailed description of what these breasts look like:

meaning, wide-eyed maidens WITH FULLY DEVELOPED BREASTS. Ibn ‘Abbas, Mujahid and others have said,

“This means ROUND BREASTS. They meant by this THAT THE BREASTS OF THESE GIRLS WILL BE FULLY ROUNDED AND NOT SAGGING, because they will be virgins, equal in age…” (Tafsir Ibn Kathir, Abridged, Volume 10, Surat At-Tagabun to the end of the Qur’an, pp. 333-334; bold and capital emphasis ours)

And here is what the two Jalals say in regard to S. 36:55:

Indeed today the inhabitants of Paradise are busy (read fī shughlin or fī shughulin), [oblivious] to what the inhabitants of the Fire are suffering, [busy] delighting in pleasures SUCH AS DEFLOWERING VIRGINS – not busy with anything wearisome, as there is no toil in Paradise – rejoicing, blissful (fākihūna is a second predicate of inna, the first being fī shugulin, ‘busy’); (Tafsir al-Jalalayn: http://altafsir.com/Tafasir.asp?tMadhNo=0&tTafsirNo=74&tSoraNo=36&tAyahNo=55&tDisplay=yes&UserProfile=0)

Tell me Williams, would you tell your children about all the firm breasted whores you will be busy deflowering? And would also tell your daughters that if they are good enough they will join these band of whores for men with eternal erections to deflower for ever! Maybe you could tell them how joyful it will be for them have their hymens opened by Muslim perverts such as yourself.

You know you are a coward since you would never dare debate me publicly on the filth and trash of your prophet.

  3. Sam Shamoun says:

    Here is another post:

Here is some from your ahadith which Muslims such as Muhammad Ibn Abdul-Wahhab used to justify using vulgarity and being harsh with one’s opponents:

“… Then ‘Urwah said: ‘Muhammad, tell me: if you extirpate your tribesmen, have you ever heard of any of the Arabs who destroyed his own race before you? And if the contrary comes to pass, by God I see both prominent people and rabble who are likely to flee and leave you.’ Abu Bakr said, ‘GO SUCK THE CLITORIS OF AL-LAT!’– al-Lat was the idol of Thaqif, which they used to worship – ‘Would we flee and leave him…’” (The History of al-Tabari – The Victory of Islam, translated by Michael Fishbein [State University of New York Press (SUNY), Albany 1997], Volume VIII (8), p. 76)

In fact, Muhammad even encouraged his companions to bluntly tell people to bite their fathers’ penises!

“Ubayy b. Ka‘b told that he heard God’s messenger say, ‘If anyone proudly asserts his descent in the manner of the pre-Islamic people, tell him to bite HIS FATHER’S PENIS, AND DO NOT USE A EUPHEMISM.’ It is transmitted in Sarah [sic] as-sunna.” (Mishkat Al Masabih, English Translation With Explanatory Notes By Dr. James Robson [Sh. Muhammad Ashraf Publishers, Booksellers & Exporters, Lahore, Pakistan, Reprinted 1994], Volume II, Book XXIV – General Behaviour, Chapter XIII. Boasting and Party-Spirit, p. 1021; bold and capital emphasis ours)

    {Sidenote: Sarah is a misspelling for Sharh, so that it should have read Sharh as-sunna.}

    And:

And in the words of Abu Bakr As-Sideeq to ‘Urwah: “Suck Al-Lat’s clitoris!”[2] – there is a permissibility of speaking plainly the name of the private parts if there is some benefit to be gained thereby, just as he [Muhammad] permitted a plain response to the one who made the claims of the Jahiliyyah (i.e. claims of tribal superiority), by saying: “Bite your father’s penis!”[3] And for every situation there is a (fitting) saying. (Provisions for the Hereafter (Mukhtasar Zad Al-Ma’ad), by Imam Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah, summarized by Imam Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab At-Tamimi [Darussalam Publishers & Distributors, First Edition: September 2003], Chapter. Regarding the Story of Al-Hudaibiyyah, p. 383; source; words within brackets ours)

[3] Narrated by Ahmad, on the authority of Ubayy Ibn Ka’b. (Ibid.)

BTW, I am going to unleash on you and your fellow blasphemers a hadith where your prophet tells someone whether he F-d a woman, using the Arabic word for the English equivalent of the F word.

Keep running your filthy, blasphemous mouth and watch what I do to it.

    • Sam Shamoun says:

And here is what I asked him right afterwards:

In light of the above I want to know Williams if you would tell your children especially your daughters, how your prophet told someone to tell people to bite their father’s penises, and emphasized to him not to use a euphemism to do so? Would you also tell your daughters how Abu Bakr told someone to suck the clitoris of a female god? These are simply yes or no questions.

Let’s see if you are going to own up to this filth and trash of your prophet and his followers.

  4. Sam Shamoun says:

This is one took the cake! Williams posted Genesis 19:8, accusing the Bible of being obscene for reporting it: http://bloggingtheology.wordpress.com/2013/08/12/obscene-bible-verses-no-3/

However, this hypocrite forgot that the Quran tells the same story!

Here is what I posted there:

Better question is, would you read what your own Quran says about this story?

    Let us see:

And when Our messengers came unto Lot, he was distressed and knew not how to protect them. He said: This is a distressful day. And his people came unto him, running towards him – and before then they used to commit abominations – He said: O my people! HERE ARE MY DAUGHTERS! THEY ARE PURER FOR YOU. Beware of Allah, and degrade me not in (the person of) my guests. Is there not among you any upright man? They said: Well thou knowest that we have no right to thy daughters, and well thou knowest what we want. S. 11:77-79 Pickthall

And the people of the city came, rejoicing at the news (of new arrivals). He said: Lo! they are my guests. Affront me not! And keep your duty to Allah, and shame me not! They said; Have we not forbidden you from (entertaining) anyone? He said: HERE ARE MY DAUGHTERS, IF YE MUST BE DOING (SO). S. 15:67-71 Pickthall

I am going to have a field day with your post here, providing further proof that you a re deceptive, dishonest Christophobe.

Thank you for making my job easier. 😉
